National Gardening Week

This is a small part of the garden at our previous house near Peterborough, posted because this week is National Gardening Week, an RHS event. There is a lot on the RHS website with a focus on “grow at home” to reflect these lockdown times and in recognition that plants and gardens have the power to uplift us. And for those without a garden or indoor plants, pause and appreciate the natural world when taking daily exercise. The bluebells are coming into their own in Corbar Wood, there are swathes of wood anemones in Cunningdale, wild garlic is starting to show its white flower heads, and there are early purple orchids around. And look forward to the other gardens that will one day become available again.
